Youth Against Violence

It is an organization of young people who promote security in Central America through the development of youth violence prevention initiatives at regional, national and local levels with groups in different parts of the country.

National Autonomous University of Honduras, Socioeconomic Attention and Educational Stimuli Program (PASEE) -UNAH

It offers different scholarships. The Category “A” Scholarship offers: a non-refundable monthly allowance of L.2000 per month to first-year students whose academic GPA for Secondary Education is equal to or greater than 90%.

Initiative that offers educational financing to study at universities: technical training, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral studies, diplomas and study trips. National Employment Service of Honduras, “Empléate” (SENAEH)

In this site of the Ministry of Labor, you can upload your resume so that it is available when different companies are looking for candidates and also search for vacancies by municipalities. There are also physical offices to contact in each municipality.

Employment exchange at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Cortes

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Cortes is linked to more than 2000 companies throughout the Department and about 800 of these companies manage their jobs through this exchange, so sending your resume will facilitate contact with future employers.

Migration

Municipal Unit of Attention to Returned Migrants, UMAR

The UMARs support migrants who have returned to Honduras by offering the referral of their cases to technical training, entrepreneurship and job orientation programs, as well as other services.

It supports returned migrants by coordinating the referral of their cases with other institutions, but it also provides information and guidance to potential migrants.
